Hi Peeps, I have had my setup for around 2 years now. I am running a i5 12600KF, ASUS ROG B660 MB, ASUS 3070TI TUF GPU, Noctua DH15, ASUS ROG 1000W PSU and Corsair 4000D Case. Have recently had KernelTracing errors popping up, which links into hardware malfunction, Driver updates not installing correctly etc. Have dropped my PC off to a PC Repair shop, and they have stated that I require more cooling as they feel my setup isn't being sufficiently cooled, which could be causing these errors and crashes. Can you please confirm whether this is correct, and would you advise changing the cooling system in my setup. Any advice is greatly appreciated. James

This setup seems excessive unless you're missing fans entirely. They should clarify what's overheating, since an HD 15 unit handles a 12900k CPU well. A 12600k would be fine without issues. If airflow is too tight because only the back fan is running, that could be the issue. But adding three Arctic P12 fans front will likely resolve it quickly.

Your setup looks solid with those dual fans and the DH15. It should handle the load well, so sticking with air cooling seems reasonable unless you notice overheating.

Yes. Don't let people tell you an AIO is better. A nhd15 will match/beat any 240/280mm aio out there. It will also tie with most 360mm aio's. it's a TOP spec cooler. Adding cpu cooling will do fuckall because you literally have a TOP SPEC cooler already which is HILARIOUSLY overkill for an i5 12600. The ONLY thing that could be a problem causing cpu cooling issues is that the lga1700 socket has flexin issues which cause coolers to not make proper contact. This is easily resolved by a 10$ contact frame you install around the cpu. That or you made a minor mistake installing the cooler. A single fan in the front is a bit little. Adding 2 more can help. however the shop needs to be MUCH clearer about what is going on. What are the temps on the cpu and gpu? On the cpu anything under 100c is TOTALLY fine. Gpu under 83c is fine. Fyi those errors are not only for hardware fails can also just be a broken windows which it sounds more like. that or memory issues which can be easily found by using memtest 86

It looks like you're confirming that your memory tests passed. A fresh Windows installation might help if the problem persists.
