So far nobody has reported frequent crashes in CoD around the last 5-7 days. My game occasionally freezes or crashes, but usually I can play through several matches without issues. When it does crash, it freezes briefly before showing an error like 0x00000014483117a. It seems to happen consistently, though sometimes it looks like a developer problem. Behind the error message, the game still loads and runs normally, but I can only click 'OK' to close it. I've checked everything—updated drivers, different GPUs, removed OC files, even reinstalled Windows. It's getting really frustrating.
I've experienced some crashes lately, so I stopped using "Experimental Driver" in GeForce Experience and it's no longer there. I'm going to completely remove the driver from the driver manager and reinstall it. This should fix everything. Another step is to check your COD WZ Cache in Battle.net — it's not uncommon for unexpected files to appear.
I’ve fine-tuned this to the Texture Detail setting. When I choose Normal it works perfectly, but High causes crashes occasionally. Sometimes it stops the game entirely, other times I can finish a couple levels before it crashes. I’ve been playing for about two to three weeks on Normal without any issues. I’m curious why this setting seems to trigger the crash.
