Issues with capture cards – glitchy pass-through and recording failure at 60fps in 1080p
Hello, I hope you're doing well. I'm reaching out for some assistance with a recent issue I've been facing. I'm trying to get my new XR1 Lite capture card functioning properly. There are a couple of challenges: first, the passthrough isn't working as expected, and second, I'm struggling to maintain 60 frames per second at 1080p resolution. When I switch to my HDMI input (XR1 Lite), instead of seeing my desktop clearly, I notice my wallpaper getting stretched out excessively. After a short time, the monitor displays an error message indicating it's out of range. I've tried using my DisplayPort connection and launching OBS, where I see a normal desktop image from the XR1 input. However, this results in only 30Hz output, which prevents me from achieving the required 60fps for recording. Could it be that my monitor isn't compatible with the XR1? It's a G-sync model with a 175Hz refresh rate (LG 38GL950G). I've made several attempts—switched HDMI cables, updated firmware, installed the latest GPU drivers, ensured Windows updates are complete, and verified my PC specifications. My hardware includes an i7 5930K CPU, 2080 Ti GPU, and an x99 deluxe motherboard from ASUS. Thank you for your time and support.
