Issues with boosting EVGA GTX 980 Ti SC+ performance, crashes following minor adjustments
I'm not an expert in OC, but I decided to try and push the GPU a little bit.
Using EVGA's Percision X app, I can achieve:
GPU: +100MHz
Memory: +200 MHz
No changes to Power usage or Voltage.
However, others claim they can get much higher.
I tried increasing both power and voltage separately and together, then set the GPU to 140MHz.
But even without OC, if I run a graphics-heavy test, the screen goes black instantly, and I have to restart my PC.
I’m unsure what I should do to stabilize this. The temperature is around 81-83°C at 60% fan speed, so I thought pushing it further might help.
Is this just the limit of my card, or did I miss something about stabilizing it?
Each chip or card will overclock differently, at least small amount.
You didnt even say what GPU you have. Write your full system spec. Which stress tests do u use?

I have written my GPU in the title, EVGA GTX 980 Ti SC+
I've used Kombustor to check if my screen doesn't immediately go black.
I just expected that changing the power limit, or voltage would make a difference
but it doesn't seem like the gpu is limited by the power is my guess

Did people push more than 100+ on exact same card?
