Issues with Black Ops 3 performance

I chose to try Black Ops 3 on PC for the first time. Then, every few seconds in the menu it starts to lag, and when I’m playing the game it becomes slow. My system has an Intel i7-6700 processor and a Nvidia RTX 3060, but I don’t know why this is happening and the settings seem low.

I noticed this stuttering in the menus, but it disappears once I start the game. You're using an RTX 2070 at full resolution of 3440x1440. Are you using a customized zombie map or a modified version of the base game?

You're testing offline multiplayer with bots to check performance. You're seeing around 20 FPS and experiencing stuttering. You've completed all DLC but haven't disabled them or played a zombie map.

I also used the NVIDIA control panel to set everything for performance, but got the same outcome. I tried Steam to start it in fullscreen mode, disabled the fullscreen optimization, and ran the app as an administrator.

Because this won’t be resolved, I opted to request a refund on Steam. Instead, I downloaded a modified version and played without an internet connection. I understand the unofficial version will function better than the official one.
