So don't worry about me, I understand it's a mess—it's been running without side panels for about a year now, and I cleaned it last summer. I plan to swap out the CPU, SSD, cooler, and PSU next week, so I’ll take it apart thoroughly. I spotted some odd stains with more brown dust under the VRM on the photo—what could cause that? If they’re causing burns, I should look for unusual behavior. The back of the motherboard looks normal, nothing visible there. Temperatures are stable, VRM is around 38 at idle and 47 under load.
