Issues with AMD Ryzen 4 DIMM RAM at 3600 MHz
I attempted 6000MHz but didn’t reduce it further. I’ll give it another shot and let you know the result.
Ram instability causes frustration among consumer boards. Opt for two 64-unit sticks instead of four 32-unit sticks; a 32-unit solution resolves the issue quicker than saying "DOCP Profile."
You're asking whether your system leans toward a creative/workstation style or a gaming focus. If it's the former, the slower RAM might have less of an effect; you could experiment with reducing RAM speed down to around 4800Mhz after enabling EXPO, which is a straightforward approach.
The PC may have reset its settings automatically. This could happen due to timing adjustments that become more precise with EXPO and don’t decrease when lowering the frequency. It might be because your stick set is very unstable or the timing values are incorrect. Did you purchase a 4x kit or just two of the same 2x model? With CPU-Z, can you boot using all four sticks at the default non-OC speed? Would it help to capture a screenshot of all four SPD slots? If only two sticks function properly, take a photo of those two and then swap them in, capturing another image.
I attempted using four RAM kits. I tried a two+two configuration, and it produced the same outcome. If anyone has alternative ideas, I’d appreciate hearing them. I currently have a stable setup with two slots, but I’m aiming to expand to four slots without any performance issues.
They didn’t function with the previous RAM sets, so you explored other options. It seems the system still rejects 4 sticks even when EXPO isn’t enabled.
That's correct, I experimented with three distinct RAM manufacturers. I tested Corsair, Kingston, and G-Skill RAM modules.
