I purchased a refurbished 5500 XT on eBay as an upgrade from my GTX 1050. I’m facing issues not experienced with the 1050. On a multi-user system, hardware acceleration stops working in Chrome (games run okay) and crashes when screen blank time is enabled. I’ve tested various drivers and used DDU, but a clean Windows install didn’t help. Here are the specs: GPU MSI RX5500 XT 8GB (Driver 23.4.1), CPU Xeon E3-1225 V3, RAM 20GB DDR3 1600 (no overclocking), motherboard ASUS B85M-E (BIOS current), power supply 650W, OS Windows 10 21H2 (version 19044.2728). Displays include LG 32 FHD 60Hz via DP to HDMI adapter, ASUS 19 FHD VS228 60Hz via DP, and LG 24EC53 24 FHD 60Hz via HDMI.

It turned out the issue was with Windows, and updating to Windows 10 1809 resolved it smoothly (it has been very reliable since).
