Hi. I'm facing issues with my Windows 11 setup. Previously, I used ESC to enter the boot menu and adjust boot priority. Now the new version requires F11 but shows a confusing screen. I've attached some pictures for reference.

I believe a new installation of Windows 11 is necessary.
Where did you obtain the installer for your operating system?
On my previous machine, I would press ESC to access the boot menu and then select the preferred boot option.
What was the model and make of your motherboard for the older system?
Did you transfer the OS or drive from your previous setup to the new one? I assume you upgraded your system, which is why it appears in the thread's beginning.
Please note that each board manufacturer has a unique key command to open the Boot Devices menu. This isn't an issue with Windows 11, and it's not even a concern at this point. You just need to remember the correct procedure when selecting a different boot device.

No. This is another PC Bought from a shop. BRAND NEW. I have IT experiance and used to help people with computer problems. That was a long time ago when you had ESC F6 and F8. It has all changed now..

Hello. I need to restart my external DVD to reinstall Windows 11. I tried pressing F11 but it showed a lot of details about my memory without any options to select a bootable drive. I also have a virtual machine setup for my drive.

I notice that clicking on either option doesn't reveal a list of available drives. It seems the external USB drive might only be detected in Windows.

The EZ Mode screen shows up automatically when you start the BIOS setup. EZ mode is a dashboard displaying key system details like CPU speed, DRAM frequency, SATA info, and fan speed. To access more settings, press <F6> or click the "Advanced Mode" button in the upper right corner of the screen.

Are you sure? It looks like you haven't experienced the UEFI user interface before, if you're unsure about those displays.

I wasn't a computer engineer before 2020. At that time, my main work involved writing novels and scripts. My trusty Windows 7 machine had the model M5A78L-M. When did we transition from the old BIOS setup to using UEFI?
