Hi everyone, I'm working on setting up a Linux VM in Unraid with a FirePro W2100 GPU for a budget workstation. The kernel reports a fatal error every time I try to boot the operating system, but it works fine when using VNC. AMD says the GPU supports Linux, yet it crashes before loading. This problem appears on both Ubuntu 16.04 and CentOS 7. Any suggestions?

It's widely recognized that AMD components often face significant challenges with Linux. You'll likely need to look for solutions and possibly switch to another distribution: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/still-cant-b...rd/2829/10 The simplest choice would be to opt for an Intel or NVIDIA GPU instead of AMD.

What hardware are you employing? Will it function alongside other cards? It seems like a VT-D/IOMMU issue with your board.
