Issues reported with the new Corsair Virtuoso XT headset?
I operate from home and rely on a server that receives calls via Chrome (or Chromium generally). Everything must be accessed through Chrome/Chromium. However, the headset significantly slows things down. The server typically displays your headset/microphone input, but it doesn’t function with this particular model. (Mainly uses Twilio.) This issue is unique to these headphones. I previously used a Razer Kraken V3 Pro before; the problems and THX quality were overwhelming. The same applies to Google Meet—it connects eventually but takes an excessive amount of time. Disconnecting the headset or switching devices causes the server and our system to respond quickly. YouTube also experiences delays, sometimes failing to play videos altogether. The headset performs flawlessly with other apps, such as Discord. I attempted to remove ICUE, but the server still works without it, skipping sound on platforms like YouTube or during testing in settings. The only solution that allows Chrome-based use of Youtube, Meet, and similar services is uninstalling Corsairs drivers. However, whenever updates are released via ICUE or the headset firmware, the drivers reinstall automatically, forcing me to remove everything each time. Anyone have insights into potential problems with my headset and these web browsers? It’s a long shot, but I appreciate this headset and am unsure what else to try.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! To ensure we're on the same page, which version of Chrome are you using? As a quick tip, if you're using this headset, have you attempted to install the newest iCUE app via an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator? Have you considered testing with Edge or any other browser built on Chromium? For the community, could you kindly share your BIOS version?
The latest version of Chrome has been installed and verified. I’ve reinstalled it and confirmed everything is current. ICUE also ran as Administrator without any changes. The BIOS version remains 4702. Firmware for the headset and dongle is up to date, matching ICUE’s status. I tested Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Brave, but none functioned properly. Success was achieved by using Chrome in Windows 8 compatibility mode, though the interface appeared unusual. USB drivers were reinstalled and a fresh Windows installation was completed, ensuring all drivers are current.
