It's similar to using a pin to place it in and reset. For a short time, I shared it the following day since I believed it would be the same.

There’s a chance this could occur, but we’re dealing with very low loads where the capacitor smoothing doesn’t discharge quickly enough to let the voltage fall below the minimum PWM duty cycle before being recharged. In real life, constant-voltage charging systems are largely resolved. The output section usually includes built-in overvoltage protection. A budget power supply should suffice if it delivers sufficient current for the load.
