I recently acquired a Lian Li SUP01 with a PCIe Gen4 riser. After installing my components, everything functioned normally until I opened HWMonitor. There were numerous PCIe error messages appearing. Initially, I thought they might have appeared before, so I tested various games. Performance was acceptable, but some unusual lighting effects emerged—intense flickering in certain rare cases and other odd phenomena. I’m not sure if this is related to the riser. I repositioned both the GPU and the riser multiple times. The PC also showed strange behavior after power-on (monitor’s refresh rate appeared erratic), but this issue resolved quickly. There might be a minor DP cable damage, as I observed unusual monitor effects when handling it. I attached a video showing these occurrences. I only ran four games for testing; Cyberpunk and CS2 didn’t exhibit similar issues. Despite being comfortable with computers, I’m unfamiliar with risers, so I suspect the riser could be the culprit. HWInfo’s HWMonitor might display inaccurate readings, but the game problems are clear. I could try moving my setup to another case, though that would take time. Any advice would be appreciated.

Problem summary: Odd light rendering on walls and flickering lights during movement in Abiotic Factor; Distorted windows and flickering streetlights in RoboCop: Rouge City.
