You can power off your CPU if your motherboard supports it. Adding another 8GB of RAM makes a big difference.

I'm running at 144Hz, so I'll keep my FPS around that number. I plan to tweak the graphics settings later. Could a RAM upgrade help? Right now I'm not thinking about upgrading the CPU because the issue only happens in Fortnite.

Unfortunately, your motherboard can't be overclocked.

I'm not sure if the RAM upgrade will completely solve this problem, but it won't make things worse. I was really taken aback when you said Modern Warfare is running smoothly, since many people claim it struggles with just 8GB of RAM. Still, 16GB has become the typical requirement now, and it should noticeably boost multitasking and help certain games perform better.

It's great to hear you're experiencing stable performance! You're seeing around 100-110 FPS with no issues, and the game feels very responsive.

Adjusted the settings, but the improvement wasn't significant. GPU usage increased, yet CPU usage remained high—usually around 90-100%. It's unusual for this to happen to me, especially since I haven't experienced problems with Fortnite before, even though I've been using my setup for a while now. This issue began recently.
