Hello everyone, I’m facing a really odd issue with my PC. It keeps looping into bootloop and can’t get into BIOS. At first it worked perfectly—16GB RAM in dual channel, NVMe drive, Ryzen 7 2700X, RX590 RedDevil, and Gigabyte B450 DS3H motherboard. I thought the board might be faulty since I saw reports about VRM problems on forums. I bought it for free, intending to build a PC for my nephew, who already has a great machine. After installing Windows 11, everything was fine until Valorant started using Anticheat Vanguard. I forced BIOS Safe Boot, but now it’s broken. CMOS cleared didn’t help, and taking the battery out for five days didn’t resolve anything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The updated BIOS likely includes Secure Boot by default. You installed Windows 11 using a customized installer.

Check the connection by removing the drive from the board, then power on it. Try accessing the BIOS to determine if there was an issue with a setting. If you succeed, it likely points to a board or BIOS problem; if not, the fault may be elsewhere.

I also used a disconnected drive, but it didn’t help either.

standard setup, moving from Windows 10 to 11. However, after enabling certain security features, it stopped working properly... I’m unsure how to resolve this issue.

To use Secure Boot you need to start in Safe Mode during the first login and then switch to normal mode. Otherwise, the system could crash (BSOD) after power-on. Since you mention you can't boot or access BIOS, it suggests a hardware problem.

I’m not sure if you can refresh the bios using just a USB flash drive, without turning on the PC, any other drives, or using extra RAM.

Yes, if the drive isn't recognized after disconnecting it, it likely points to a hardware issue. I think Valoriant might have interfered with the board's BIOS since Windows 10 and 11 record data for validation purposes.

I might consider a different model besides the Gigabyte B450M DS3H. It's tough that the CPU failed.

Take RAM out, clear CMOS, then boot PC. If it restarts automatically, reset everything and try BIOS mode.
