Issues reported on Battlefield onePerformance include performance problems and bugs during gameplay.
Hello everyone, here’s my current configuration: an i5 4690K, GTX 1060, 6GB RAM, 16GB SSD, using DDR3 (speed: sabertooth mark 1 Z97). I previously played Battlefield One and others in Ultra settings with a cap of 60 FPS, without any problems. Recently, after several updates—Windows, Nvidia, and Battlefield—it’s become unstable. Performance fluctuates between 60 and 40 FPS, and sometimes drops to 20 FPS during intense moments. Some users are managing the same hardware at 2K Ultra settings consistently. I’ve searched countless forums and tried various troubleshooting tips, but I still feel something is missing. My CPU runs at up to 4.5 GHz even when fully loaded, though I know that shouldn’t be a bottleneck for 1080p. Windows power settings are optimized for performance, so the core parking idea isn’t useful here. I reinstalled the game for a fresh start and tested it on both DX 11 and DX 12. Changed pre-rendered frames from Nvidia, but only minor adjustments helped. Still struggling with smooth playback. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead!
Stopping the use of beta drivers is now the norm. These tricky canyons are common in performance discussions, but some users still manage to get the most out of it—playing at 2k is possible. I’m getting really frustrated though; I don’t want things to stay this way.
