Issues related to rendering distance have been identified.
In the past week, I’ve observed recurring graphical problems that are common in certain games; yet these issues have now appeared in every title I’ve played. The main concern involves the level of detail (LOD) and draw distance, where objects appear abruptly without a smooth transition or gradual reveal—they just show up when I approach them. The same pattern is seen with textures and shadows, which shift instantly rather than changing gradually. As I navigate through game worlds, these inconsistencies persist, making everything seem artificial and low in quality. This disruption is particularly bothersome because objects in the environment keep popping in, altering or vanishing right before my eyes. This problem is especially evident with shadows, and I’ve recorded several short clips to illustrate it. The final two videos highlight how shadows behave at the edges of the screen. I want to stress that this issue is consistent across all games, though its intensity varies—some are more noticeable than others. All components are under a year old. Benchmarks confirm everything is functioning properly, temperatures are normal, and all required updates and reinstalls have been completed. I’ve tested both the lowest and highest settings.
issues with certain details, textures, or models appearing unexpectedly can stem from various factors; such as corrupted game data, a failing disk, improper RAM operation leading to data loss, or GPU hardware problems and driver issues. if this occurs only with one game, it likely relates to the game files or their installation. when multiple titles are affected, the problem may be hardware-related.
Please consider this situation carefully. If you encounter similar issues across different games, it might be worth investigating further before making assumptions.
i would begin by eliminating all graphics-related drivers and data using DDU within Windows Safe mode. then proceed to reinstall the newest driver package straight from Nvidia, bypassing GeForce Experience. ensure the motherboard BIOS is up to date and all available drivers are sourced directly from the manufacturer's support site. test running a few games on another drive to assess performance gains. provide the full system specifications along with the model numbers of every component.
Alright, will do. I've tried also removing the Nvidia ShaderCache which didn't help. Will get back to the thread when I'm done
CPU: 14700K
MB: MSI Z790 GAMING PLUS WIFI
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32 GBDDR5-6000 CL30
GPU: Gigabyte 4070 Windforce
PSU: Seasonic FOCUS GX-850W ATX 3.0 (not sure what you mean by overall age)

Sorry, you should look for a manufacturing date on the PSU itself. It was purchased brand new in February.
I discovered the reason behind the flickering vegetation in RDR2, similar to the cactuses shown in another video. It happens whenever I enable MSAA at any level—2x, 4x, or 8x—but it didn't improve the shadow and vegetation rendering.
