I just set up a new system using the Kraken. My temperatures are about 21°C at idle.
During the Aida 64 stress test under full load, it reached around 42°C.
That’s still quite high for me to push the fans higher, so I decided to create a custom profile to test how cold it could get and see if it stays normal.
My CPU is an Intel i7 6700K, and I haven’t overclocked yet.

It seems normal that performance stays consistent whether the pump and fans run slow or at full speed. Are you certain this is the situation? You might want to test with a fixed 25% fan speed using a custom profile. It could be unusual, but not entirely surprising.

I think it's typical. My maximum temps reach around 30-36°C, but my surroundings might be cooler than yours (and my CPU is the FX-6350 overclocked to 4.2Ghz).
I wouldn't cause concern. 42°C under full load isn't close to the risk area for the 6700k.

It seems you're asking if it's typical for your pump and fans to operate similarly when running slowly compared to when they're at full speed.

I created a profile to maintain a 25% temperature setting regardless of conditions, but it remained around 42. After extending the test, it reached 44 and then 46 in another program. When I activated the full fan profile, both programs dropped by about 2 degrees. It seems to work, though the change is minimal, possibly making it hard to notice at low temperatures. I think I’ll see what happens after overclocking the 6700k.

I'm currently running at 4.6Ghz with temperatures around 58°C during AIDA64 Extreme.

I'm currently at 4.6Ghz with temperatures around 58 during AIDA64 Extreme. Is that the expected temperature for the full profile? A safe and typical high load temp for the 6700k is about 80°C, and since you're well above that, it looks like a good result—especially if you're not running fans at 100%. If you had lower expectations, you might want to verify your thermal paste, but overall your Kraken is doing well.

Under those conditions my fans never exceeded 40%, but I didn't run tests for a long time. Now I have to work a bit harder when I get home.
