I just got my new graphics card. Everything seemed fine after installation. But then Windows took over my GPU drivers. I used DDU to remove drivers, blocked Windows from downloading them again, and reinstalled the new ones. Now my games crash after about two minutes of playtime, and I’m not sure what caused it.

Installed the newest AMD chipset and updated the BIOS to the latest release. However, the issue persists. Before Windows overrode my drivers, I could play games normally.

You're asking about the setup process for graphics drivers. It sounds like you want to understand how to get the right display drivers installed, then switch to your specific GPU drivers. This is typically part of a fresh installation or a clean rebuild. Did you have another GPU before this one?

I previously had a GTX 1060 with 6B DDR5 RAM, but after upgrading the GPU everything functioned properly until I encountered an issue later on.

It seems unusual. Did you adhere to the right steps? Save DDU, clean NVIDIA drivers for your new card, shut down your PC, remove the 1060, install 6650 XT, restart and check for installed AMD drivers. If you only changed cards and used DDU, there might be conflicts. You could reinstall Windows, which takes about 10 minutes. Alternatively, try installing just AMD drivers without rushing.

I kept the right steps. Everything worked until the windows were replaced, then everything changed. After upgrading to win 11, the issue persisted. I turned off the automatic driver updates so the problem stopped, but games still crash after just two minutes. It doesn’t matter how I play—whether I’m in the game or standing still—it always crashes. Even World of Warcraft can crash that way.
