I've experienced frequent freezes for several months, mainly during online play. When closing a game, it often freezes and audio loops, especially when in the middle of a match or returning to the lobby after an online session (like COD Cold War, or even Minecraft). This happens on newer games that are quite demanding, forcing me to press the power button to restart. In contrast, older single-player games don't have this issue, which is unusual. I've run memtest without problems and checked the event viewer during crashes; my HDD appears fine, suggesting a hardware problem such as a failing GPU or PSU.

My system specs are:
Ryzen 5 2600
Sapphire Nitro RX580 8GB
2x 16gb Ballistix RAM
AS Rock AB350M Pro 4 Mobo
EVGA 450W bronze

I haven't overclocked anything, and I've repositioned the GPU and RAM sticks, updated drivers, and avoided updating my BIOS as it's not recommended. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
