Issues occurring during gameplay with Opera GX active.
Many games stop working when Opera GX is running. It also occurs with Chrome. No issues arise when no browser is active. I attempted to reinstall Opera, updated the GPU drivers, restarted the computer, and even reinstalled the games. It functioned properly until recently. Now it consistently crashes. The system specifications are: i5-8400, GTX 1050 Ti, and 16 GB RAM.
In Opera GX, you can also control the resources used in the browser.
Consider turning off hardware acceleration in Opera or Chrome as a preliminary test. Observe the impact it has on performance.
