Issues occurring during game crashes due to a RAM speed limit of 3600
Hello everyone, according to the title my games are crashing when I attempt to run RAM speed at 3600. I tested xmp profiles but both profile 1 and profile 2 are identical. Currently I'm running at 3200mhz which appears stable, but I want to achieve 3600 without any issues. Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX (MS-7C02) RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8gb DDR4 3600mhz (slots 2 and 4 used as CPU shows). CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER PSU: Corsair CX550M Thanks.
The XMP profile enhances performance and affects various voltages. Notably, the CPU SOC should be about 1.08v under AOO conditions when enabled. You can check this data in HWInfo64 along with temperature readings. If you're interested, capture a screenshot. Consider adjusting fan settings via BIOS—PBO support is recommended. For better cooling, modify your fan profile manually if needed.
Excellent setup. Temperatures remain acceptable during idle. Clock speeds are solid. SOC voltage reads 1.087v as expected. The system recognizes your overclocking and boosts it, resulting in a slightly warmer CPU under load. You might consider reducing the voltage slightly. A performance of 3200mt/s is solid. If stability holds, continue with this configuration.
