Issues occur with system stability during RAM adjustments.
I possess a 6600 DDR5 RAM module. My system displays it only at 3600 MHz. I've attempted various fixes but none resolved the problem—every time it crashes and triggers a blue screen. I've removed the battery to reset, tried lowering the speed, used XMP profiles without success, updated BIOS, and even changed the motherboard. Despite these efforts, the issue persists. After a recent update, the BIOS still indicated 6600 but showed lower speeds in gray. The PC would crash repeatedly, requiring a reset. I've booted into Windows 11 after a repair, but it freezes and eventually locks onto the MSI boot screen. I've tried enabling A-XMP, but it didn't help. All drivers are current, yet compatibility remains unclear. Right now, I'm back to default settings with Auto and A-XMP disabled, reverting to 3600. Any advice would be invaluable!
Don't worry about it, this setup isn't compatible. You should get a 2x32 kit with the 6000c30/32 model now. Avoid XMP issues by ensuring proper tuning. For better performance, research OC profiles online and adjust subtimings accordingly. Otherwise, XMP will usually work fine.
Use two sticks for testing. Five sticks might cause problems.
I discovered the problem—these are RAM modules made by Intel. The product details mention that information is abundant, and honestly, I should have double-checked when assembling my PC, but I didn’t realize there was a distinction. It’s interesting that on AMD products the name includes AMD, whereas Intel doesn’t, which makes me confused.
