Hello everyone, I’m facing a problem with my ASUS STRIX Z790 E WIFI GAMING. It should support DDR5 speeds like 7800+ MHz, but when I enable XMP in BIOS it won’t even launch Windows. Using just the maximum speed works, but then Windows crashes after a few seconds. The RAM I’m using is the G.Skill F5-7800. Could anyone suggest a solution or tips to resolve this issue? I know the system runs fine otherwise, but it’s frustrating having such performance limitations.

The RAM meets the required speed, but you should also consider the motherboard and CPU. Checking the QVL shows the fastest validated setup at 6400MT/s. Compatibility depends on a balance between RAM, board, and processor. Even 6400 is quite demanding for the memory controller.
