Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue linking my new laptop to the MS Display Adapter in the office. I bought the Asus Vivobook 14 with its built-in Intel WiFi 6 and Bluetooth. I tried yesterday and today using the newer version (not 4K) Microsoft Display Adapter they have at work. I connected it in the same way as before—up to 7 meters away, with Windows and keyboard shortcuts—but it kept refusing. The first time it showed “connection failed, please try again,” then briefly connected for a moment before disconnecting instantly after rebooting the adapter. I followed the troubleshooting guide from Microsoft, but didn’t get any results. I’m curious if this is related to my laptop’s WiFi 6 performance, since my old setup worked fine with that adapter. My connection is strong and Bluetooth is active, so I’m not sure what’s causing the problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Uncertain if this applies. My colleague faced issues with a laptop not connecting to a Wi-Fi 6 network until after updating Intel drivers. In contrast, another person had a Wi-Fi 5 laptop connect to a Wi-Fi 6 network.

Okay, I will have a look at updating the drivers for the Wireless - see if it makes any difference!
