While playing Skyrim I noticed an issue with the menu not displaying certain details like armor rating, health, carrying weight, or gold amount. The problem seems linked to my monitor, specifically the LG 34UM95-P. I've tried adjusting the resolution in the SkyrimPrefs.ini file, but it didn't help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

And by what I've done, it will only be shown in 4:3.

Right now the game runs at 1920x1440 resolution. I'm reinstalling it to check if I can restore the 21:9 view and remove the menu bar from the side.

The installer is ignoring the SkyrimPrefs.ini settings.

Open the ini file, enter your desired values, and then save the changes. Before launching your launcher, right-click the .ini file and select Properties. Tick the box indicating it is read-only.

Confirming the edits: Did you modify the appropriate skyrim.ini file? The correct location is in your Documents/MyGames/Skyrim directory, excluding the installation folder.

Preparing the file for download, estimated in about ten more minutes.
