Hello fellow forum members,
I’m a bit unsure if this is the right place for sharing this, but it’s my first time using it. I’m reaching out for some advice regarding the graphics in certain games. Recently, the Steam sale started and I bought American Truck Simulator and Life is Strange (both versions). When I first played them, the textures looked quite blocky, and I wasn’t sure why. Now I’m a regular Team Fortress 2 player, spending a lot of time in that game, and I’ve been playing it alongside ATS and LIS. The graphics seem fine now. Could anyone share any insights on what might be causing the issue with my computer or game visuals? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ATS Screenshots:

- headlights as orange squares
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...1957254962
- menu screen appearing blurry at the bottom
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...1957254794
- trees and buildings displaying solid colors
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...1957254734
- dials inside the truck showing uniform colors
Please let me know if these images help clarify my problem. They’re set to private on Steam, so feel free to ask if you’d like them made public. Also, if you need screenshots of LIS, I’m happy to provide those.

PC Specifications:
Ryzen 3 1200
GTX 1050
8GB DDR4
1TB Hard Drive
240GB SSD

I understand the details are a bit unclear, but they should give you a good starting point. One thing to note is my RAM appears to be running at 1333 MHz, as my motherboard doesn’t have the XMP profile enabled in the BIOS, so I can’t reach its maximum speed of 2400 MHz.

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to reach out if you need further clarification or assistance. Thank you!

Consider navigating to Nvidia Control Panel > Adjust Image Settings with Preview, then you'll see three radio buttons. If not already chosen, pick "Let the 3D application decide." I faced a similar issue with Minecraft regarding this setting, and it seemed to resolve the matter. Apologies if I wasn't sufficient help.

Hi,
Sorry, it didn't make a difference. Thank you for trying!
