If someone encounters problems with DS3 or knows how to resolve them, please share it here. Game freezing near the bonfire? Adjust settings and change Lighting details to LOW. Fog around Firelink Shrine appears to be loading; staying close to the fog helps it vanish in a few seconds.

I also use GTX 770. I haven't turned on the FPS counter while playing, since it bothers me. Everything ran smoothly even though it was at full capacity.

From a 750 Ti, the performance is solid—averaging 40-45 FPS at high settings, with a low of 32 FPS during heavy activity. No crashes have occurred so far.

The crash seems linked to keeping the lighting above "low" while your Knight's helmet is off. This matches what the article mentions about the Knight’s starting setup, but it likely applies to any class with exposed hair or face. That explains why you could play for hours without issues until you removed the helmet and started crashing repeatedly.

I also own a 750ti, and it's not performing well. Could you share more about your system—OS, driver version, CPU, RAM, and whether you're using an HDD or SSD?

OS: Windows 10 Latest driver available. CPU: AMD Athlon X4 750 (similar to i3/FX4300). RAM: 8GB DDR3. Storage: around 1TB HDD, 7200 RPM from WD. No major differences noticed. My GPU is running at roughly +300 at core clock and +600 at memory clock.

So now I understand what’s happening. The game just doesn’t play well with gamepads. Lol.

Ah, okay, this is a known issue. It's a weird one, but there's a fix. Sorry for the incoming wall of text. Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/darksouls3/comm...ues_while/ For what it's worth, my Xbone controller works flawlessly as well. Apparently this is only related to the Xbox 360 controller driver.
