Issues following the RAM upgrade

Hello everyone, I own an 8700k 1080ti with Gigabit Z370N WiFi and the latest BIOS. I added a G-Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB RAM (two 16GB sticks) with Cl16-18-18-38 BIOS settings configured to auto, but the XMP profile aligns with the RAM. During gaming, my PC crashes occasionally after some time, though it runs smoothly in normal use. Kindly advise and thank you ahead of time.

Consider using just one item at a time. Test each stick individually and swap positions as needed. Share your observations.

I’ll handle it, though I don’t have XMP enabled. Speeds drop sharply without it, and even when it functions, it’s not a viable fix. It seems the problem lies with the new drives instead of the 16GB stick working perfectly.

Single stick XMP activated in both ports without issues. Speed lowered to 3100 with manual settings and 1.36v instead of 1.35. Very smooth performance. Still a bit bothersome.
