Hello everyone, welcome. I've looked through some sources and only found updates from 2014-2015. I recently set up an Asrock z87 Extreme4, but it won't boot at all (Dr Debug code 00) with the i7 processor. It works fine on my i5 4690k. After updating the BIOS with instant flash, I tried using the Windows app because of the devils canyon update (I read about that in 2014 threads). It's strange since that update also included the i5 4690k, which functions properly. I've run the program in compatibility mode for Windows 7 since it wouldn't work with Windows 10. I'm getting frustrated with constantly changing CPUs and trying different solutions. Apart from that, could there be another issue besides a faulty CPU? Thanks ahead of time.

After reading everything, it seems likely it’s gone.

Because it runs with the 4690K, the 4790K should work too (both are in Devil's Canyon), though it might not be the best CPU choice due to lack of clear compatibility details.
