I’ve looked at the updated Dwarf Fortress adventure mode, and honestly, it’s a massive improvement over the previous version. You now have your own territories and villagers behave more naturally. However, the new features add some confusion. When I request a quest like a beast hunt, it still works similarly to the old system. But when I finally locate the beast’s spot, I often can’t find it—just like before. Asking locals for directions after a beast’s location returns a huge list with over 100 entries, which would take months to sift through. I’m wondering if anyone has a better method to narrow it down without scrolling endlessly.
