It seems the issue might be related to an older iOS version, possibly iOS 11.0.2. Have you tried updating your app or checking for known bugs in that release?

Have you attempted to reboot your device? Updating to the newest iOS release (currently 11.4) can significantly enhance performance, as previous versions of iOS 11 were severely problematic and sluggish. Unless you're locked into version 11.0.2 due to a jailbreak, consider a thorough restart. On older models, press and hold the power and home button for a few seconds, then use Volume Down and Power on for iPhone 7, followed by Volume Up once, Volume Down once, and finally hold the power button. For newer devices like the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, follow these steps with Volume Up and Down as specified.

Yes, you'll likely need to upgrade to iOS 11.4 to resolve the problem.

I also managed to install Instagram once more, and it functioned properly. It seems the iOS 11 update was on the right track. I plan to upgrade tonight.

The previous iOS 11 version was quite poor, so don't overlook the update—it will bring significant enhancements.
