When streaming video and testing across various platforms, the video quality drops after 5 seconds to a lower resolution with darker lighting. Moving the mouse resolves the issue, restoring normal brightness. After a delay, the quality returns to its original state. Disabling HDR resolves the problem, but I prefer it for gaming. Should I keep toggling it on and off, or is this an indication of a more serious issue? Any feedback would be appreciated.
HDR remains an enigma even today. I appreciate it during streaming, though many argue it becomes too saturated and grainy. Depending on your encoder and whether you're streaming on Twitch or YouTube, there are methods to adjust the color grading using HDR filters or toning in OBS. Give it a try and observe the results.
