I have a laptop originally equipped with Windows 7 and a P6200 processor. I upgraded it by adding RAM and an SSD along with an I5 520M processor to run Windows 10. Despite the system recognizing this newer processor, the installation frequently crashes. To work around this, I installed the original P6200 and later swapped it for the I5 to benefit from its performance. This change caused a mismatch between the BIOS settings (I5 520M) and the Windows processor, making it impossible to boot or update properly. The issue persists even when accessing BIOS or turning off the screen. Is there a method to accept the I5 520M during installation? How can I resolve this without buying a new one? (It's not worth joking, hahaha).

Hello there! I noticed you haven't updated the BIOS on your laptop before trying the CPU upgrade. Did you forget to include the brand, model, and part number?

I just replaced the processor, yet when accessing the BIOS it already recognizes the I5 520M. The upgrade guide didn't mention updating the BIOS. If required, what steps should I follow? My device is a Samsung RV411 and I don't have the SKU information. Tanks.
