Issues encountered during H81M-P33 Version 1.9 overclocking.
I've been attempting to customize my intel i5 4690k on my MSI H81M-P33 board, and from the issues I'm facing (the screen goes black while the PC remains powered on), I realize I need to increase the voltage. The problem is that in the BIOS, there isn't an option to adjust it. I've seen guides suggesting changes, but they all claimed the voltage settings weren't available. I have the latest BIOS version (1.9). Most of those guides mentioned version 1.7, so maybe MSI removed the ability to modify the voltage in this update? Or is there another setting I need to enable for it to appear?
I've been working on adjusting the voltage for my intel i5 4690k on the MSI H81M-P33 board. From the issues I'm facing (the screen goes black but the PC stays on), I realize I need to increase the voltage. The problem is, in the BIOS there isn't an option to modify it. I've seen guides suggesting it's possible, but they all mentioned voltage changes were shown in pictures. There seems to be a version difference—most guides were for version 1.7, not the latest 1.9. Could MSI have removed that setting in this newer release? Or is there another setting I need to enable or disable to make it work?
I've been attempting to change the settings on my intel i5 4690k using my MSI H81M-P33 motherboard. The issues I'm facing—such as the screen going black while the PC remains powered on—suggest I need to increase the voltage. However, in the BIOS menu there isn't an option for this adjustment. All the guides I've read mentioned that the voltage could be changed, but none provided a way to do so. The latest BIOS version I have is 1.9, and most of those guides were for version 1.7. It seems MSI may have removed the voltage control settings in this newer release, or there might be another setting I need to enable for it to appear.
