I recently reinstalled GTA V from Epic, but it hasn’t started properly. When it finally launches, you’ll mostly hear the sirens for a few seconds before the game closes instantly. There’s no crash notification or alert indicating it crashed. I’m using an RX 6800 XT and a Ryzen 5600. The last time I played it was on a 1070 Ti, which worked fine. It crashed on Radeon driver version 23.x.x, but after updating to 24.1.1 I hoped for a fix—still no luck. I’m starting to suspect the problem is with my AMD graphics cards, since I also can’t run Monster Hunter Rise or F1 22, which crash on startup. I’d prefer not to switch back to NVidia cards because they’re expensive and don’t match the performance I need. While launching GTA V, it tried to open in 1080p even though my monitor is 1440p.
