Hi there, I'm trying to perform a clean setup of Windows 10 on my HP X360 laptop. The process works fine until it restarts and immediately boots back to the HDD. It reaches the "Getting Ready" stage but then gets stuck. It remains on that screen for about two hours. I've restarted several times, but each time I see the error message: "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click 'OK' to restart the computer, then restart the installation." I've done this three times now and am still facing the same issue. Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks, KGB.

Curiously, did you opt for a USB drive during installation? I’ve learned that USB 3 might cause issues with Windows setup, so perhaps consider USB 2 instead.

I connected via USB. On my primary rig it worked fine, but on another machine using the same USB it functioned without issues.

I understand, I don’t have much else to say.
