Issues continue to arise during the installation of Windows 10.
I've been attempting to set up Windows 10 on a brand new laptop, but persistent error alerts keep appearing after clicking "Install now." The initial longer message shows first, followed by a shorter one when you click "Ok." I've tried several fixes: using the built-in media creator from Microsoft, using Rufus, cleaning and formatting both the SSD and USB drive, adjusting BIOS settings. I also considered checking and updating the SSD firmware, though I'm unsure how to do that without an operating system. I'm worried about physically opening the laptop to access the SSD on another machine. A review mentioned someone tried opening it but stopped due to difficulty and concern about damage. Additionally, I can't locate any drivers for this model (HP 15s-fq1032nq).
I believe you purchased a laptop without any operating system already set up.
Visit the manufacturer's website to download all necessary drivers. Use them during the installation process. If the drivers are in an EXE format, unpack them first using command line arguments or a tool like Universal Extractor before trying again. If that doesn't work, install Windows on another computer and then connect the drive to your laptop.
