Recently, after several power cycles, driver updates, and cleaning windows using a popular PowerShell script, I've faced frequent freezes, stutters, and even Windows freezing multiple times. The only actions taken so far were installing Valorant and its rootkit, but problems persist even when Vanguard is disabled. Are there any reports about recent driver or Windows update issues? My laptop details are: ASUS Zephyrus M16 2023, 13th gen i9, 64GB RAM (upgraded), 1TB NVME boot drive, plus 2TB NVME storage for games and media on the RTX 4070 mobile.
Ram's performance significantly boosted a few weeks ago after an upgrade. I usually stream Discord videos while playing tough games, but I had only 16GB storage before. Storage problems didn't occur before.
Clarify that declutter means removing certain Windows components, as described on the GitHub repo. It removes bloatware without uninstalling essential software, and it was an effort to address a problem that began before this action.
I'd remove the secondary if it doesn't assist. I'd reinstall Windows and back up your \users\folder.
Updated the NVIDIA driver to the latest version from August 6 and appears to be improved. I'll revise this if problems persist.
Performance has improved significantly, yet the game still froze unexpectedly on Windows. No activity visible in EventViewer during the incident. Odd.
