Hello, over the past two weeks my computer has experienced random crashes both while gaming and during general internet use. I can play for long periods without issues, but when watching anime or YouTube I sometimes lose minutes or even hours before a crash occurs. Occasionally it freezes completely, staying on screen but requiring constant power button presses to restart. Other times the display loses signal and the mouse, keyboard, and microphone shut down, forcing me to turn off the power supply manually.

I’ve tested my CPU, GPU, RAM, NVMe drive, and Windows both with and without a clean install. The memory checker showed no problems, and I ran stress tests on all hardware to push the PSU to its limit—it stabilized at 710W according to the side display. I noticed the issue started after a power outage, but since my machine is connected to a surge-protected, grounded adapter, I’m not sure it was the cause.

This situation has been really stressful, and I’m worried about needing to replace parts. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to anyone who can help.

I experience the same problem on my current laptop occasionally, it improved after disabling hardware acceleration in my web browser.

I'll give it a shot, though I'm sure you turned it off before you reinstalled Windows.
