I recently purchased a new PC and used a pre-built system. Tomatoes are fine, so today I started using it for Steam games. Around the 30-second mark, my Steam games crashed. I've tried several titles—Human Fall Flat, Cities: Skyline, and BeamNG.drive—but only tested them on Steam. My machine has the specs listed: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, Intel Core i5-10400 at 2.90GHz, WDC PC with 256GB WD Blue 1TB, Kingston HP32D4U8S8HC-8X with two 8GB RAM modules. I'm not very experienced with PC setup, but everything worked until today. Yesterday, Human Fall Flat played well with friends.

The task manager informs you if something is getting too hot.

Review the firewall settings. I experienced this before. Examine the Event Viewer to understand the crash cause. Use HWmonitor to monitor temperatures and Task Manager to check CPU, GPU, and disk usage.

Temperatures are hovering between 30-50 degrees Celsius for both the CPU and GPU. Checking Task Manager shows no unusual activity.

I understand the temperatures are usually around 40°C, but I’m not finding any issues in Event Viewer. When I tried to restart, the CPU showed 6%, while both SSD and HDD reported 0%.

The problem was about finding relevant information during a Google search, likely related to a specific topic or query.
