I own three displays, including one with HDR capability. For two years they functioned well until recently. Suddenly, when HDR is activated on my monitors, the contrast or brightness on the non-HDR ones reaches its maximum, making it hard to read most text on websites or documents unless they use dark mode with a dark background and light text. This issue only appeared when HDR was enabled. I searched for solutions but found only temporary fixes by disabling HDR. I’d like to use HDR on the monitor that supports it. Is it possible to enable HDR selectively for certain displays or are there other workarounds? As mentioned earlier, everything worked fine until recently. My system runs Windows 10 and my monitors are an ASUS TUF Gaming VG27W, an Acer 1080p 60Hz model I can’t identify, plus a Gateway 1050p monitor that’s been in use for nearly a decade.

I disabled HDR while reviewing the data hoarder clip to draft this note, and Jake appears to have a significant sunburn in the absence of it. Seems perfectly fine with HDR active.
