I recently adjusted the voltage on my 3070ti to lower the temperatures, and it performed perfectly. I usually let my PC sleep, and it's been days without any problems, so I assumed everything was okay. Recently, after shutting down and resting, I encountered strange artifacts and crashes in Darktide along with minor Windows issues. Not knowing what to do, I removed the profile, uninstalled Afterburner, and restarted. Now temperatures are back to higher levels than desired. What might be causing this behavior, and what actions should I take to prevent it?

What are the temperatures?
These cards don't experience thermal throttling until around 93C, but I'd prefer to keep it at 85C or lower.
The edit might need to enhance case airflow and/or tweak the fan curve.

What PC case model are you using? How many fans are installed?
What is the ambient temperature in your room?
Can you provide a photo of your system with the side panel removed? (Upload to imgur.com and share the link)

It reached 83°C. That's never happened before, but it's definitely hotter than I prefer. I've got a 4000D Airflow with fans set up everywhere possible.

More fans don't necessarily improve airflow. I would tweak the fan curve in afterburner, only needing two marks. 50C=30% 80C=100%. 83C isn't really bad for a graphics card.
