Issue with Zephyrus Asus M16: screen locks unexpectedly during operation
While operating the newly bought Zephyrus Asus M16, I've noticed the screen occasionally turns black at random moments before returning to the lock screen. There doesn't appear to be a consistent pattern for these events. On average, this occurs roughly every thirty minutes. I'm unsure what to do or how to resolve this problem, but any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, just a note, I've already replaced another M16 with this one, and the previous model also had the same issue.

Are you sure your laptop isn't restarting and leading you to the lock screen? For your laptop, it might be helpful to check the BIOS version at this moment and see if any updates are available. Regarding your operating system, could you let me know what version you're using? Also, is there a possibility that the problem appears under different conditions—such as when taxed, idle, or only when idle?
Thanks a lot for your detailed reply. It took me a moment to get back. I’ll address this and follow up on the OS soon. Regarding the problem, it occurs unexpectedly even when the system isn’t running anything heavy. For the BIOS, would you like me to boot into it and verify everything is fine, or should I just check for updates after using Windows regularly? Also, I think it would have been better to mention this earlier. Before, it would black screen and jump to the Lock Screen in about three seconds, so it doesn’t seem like a simple restart. Let me know if you need more details.

The laptop shuts down unexpectedly.
Initially, it only occurred when using heavy tasks like gaming or work, so I thought it overheated, but later it happened even during regular use.
Instead of shutting off, it either restarts or powers down. This happened when the CPU temperature reached its maximum at 95°C during heavy use. I’m worried it might be due to thermal management problems. I’ve owned this machine for two months now.
So far, I’m not confident in this device.
It presents various random problems that seem hardware-related.
