Issue with your wireless controller.
Relocated into a new location with an existing network configuration that we need to adjust. (Apologies if this isn't in the correct spot) Our devices include a modem that functions properly, allowing login and password updates. The TP-Link switch operates without issues. We also have a Sonos sound system, a Luxel wireless controller (model xwc-1000), and a wireless extender for the second floor linked to the controller. The issue lies with the Luxel network's insecure password—only the company name is visible, making it hard to determine how to modify it. The default IP 192.168.0.1 appears active but causes connection refusal when accessing the controller. Successful logins exist for the modem and extender. We've reset the controller without resolving the problem and restarted it afterward. Attempts from Chrome, Firefox, and Edge have been unsuccessful. Could someone assist with changing the Luxel network password? Also, since network management isn't my area of expertise, would a Wi-Fi booster or repeater be more suitable for our needs?
Do you have a wireless extender instead of an access point? Understand the distinction between them. It looks like you're dealing with multiple devices for a single purpose, which might be costly. Are you certain you're not using an access point as a wireless extender? Remember, admin control is typically limited to Ethernet connections. Have you tried this setup before?
Apologies, yes, the modem-router combo is correct—it functions as an access point. I’m not sure where I acquired the extender. It seems my setup details might be mixed up. We’ve tested both wired and wireless options; however, the XWC-1000 controller only has one Ethernet port for connecting to the modem (via a switch). I tried a wireless link to the modem and then connected directly to it without the XWC, but nothing worked. Our goal was to access 192.168.0.19, which is the main issue we faced.
