I just changed my 3 SATA cables into different ports. I double-checked all of them to make sure they were inserted properly, since I recently moved into a new house and started renovating. I thought maybe some might have come loose because of all the moving around. Now I’m waiting to see if the issue persists. Today I got a BSOD with an unrecoverable error. I’m considering buying new RAM to rule out a memory problem, but honestly I don’t know what else to do.
These indicate a CPU hardware issue in two out of three tests. The CPU records these errors internally, which makes them quite dependable. Both reports display an internal parity error from the CPU. If overclocking or undervolting occurs, remove those settings. For testing, ensure RAM operates above 2666MHz (presumably the official max speed) and that Multicore Enhancement is enabled in the BIOS. The only viable fix is a BIOS update, though rare chipset driver updates may help. Updating the BIOS on an unstable system can be risky—crashing during the update might permanently damage the motherboard.

Failure isn't just on or off; it can vary in performance. RAM often drops unexpectedly, making people more aware of that issue. You might have seen devices with faulty RAM that functioned well for a while before suddenly crashing repeatedly. You'd notice the inconsistency, similar to manually adjusting voltage settings. While a PSU could be a factor in many cases, I don't believe it's the main problem here.
I just installed a BIOS update. After the update, the PC restarted and then I lost connection to the monitor. The white LED on the motherboard turned on again. I changed from a display port to HDMI but still had no signal. I kept trying and it finally worked. There was a strange noise from the monitor when it didn’t function, like scratching. For a short time I could see the desktop before it went black again. Any idea what that might mean?
Oh my... What did the urologist say? Laughing it off, it seems the white LED isn't connected to the issue... When fixing problems, start with the simplest setup (remove extra drives, RAM sticks, USBs...) and test again. If it helps, I'll replace parts one by one until I identify the cause... It's frustrating, but I get it.
