Issue with your motherboard
Hello, I'm facing an issue with the Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming K3 running BIOS version F15. The BIOS settings aren't taking effect. Specifically, the Intel EIST function is disabled in BIOS but still appears enabled when I open Hwinfo64. I've tried using optimized defaults, changing the BIOS battery setting, disabling just EIST to check if it shows up in Windows, and adjusting power plans like high performance, ultimate performance, bitsum, or quick CPU. I'm not sure what to do next.
Specs: Intel Core i5 8600K, 5GHz, 1.368V, LLC Turbo, Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming K3, Corsair 16GB 3600 CL16, Sirtec High Power Element, 650W, 80+ Bronze, Arctic Liquid Freezer 420mm.
Currently I tried this but nothing altered... In hwinfo64 only the EIST stays active. Every time I boot Windows I have to open QuickCpu to uncheck the EIST and PROCHOT, and when I reopen HWinfo64 the EIST turns OFF. In the BIOS all c-states, SST, EIST are OFF. I really want to destroy this motherboard... I swear I won’t buy any more Gigabyte devices again.
