You recently installed a new gaming PC with the Ryzen 7 2700X, RX 6600 XT 2060, B450 Aorus Elite V2, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (CMW16GX4M2C3200C16) RAM. The XMP profile isn’t activating, and overclocking leads to crashes during RainbowOS games. You’re considering a 2400MHz RAM upgrade to boost performance, aiming for about 90 FPS improvement.

Are you running four slots or only two? Are all the RAM modules identical? Have you verified the voltage levels? Was XMP activated in BIOS matching the original RAM settings? FLP

I discussed this earlier in a different conversation. Someone attempting to use DDR4-3000 with a Ryzen 2600 faced issues. I'm just repeating what I said. ================================== The challenge lies with the Ryzen 2000-series (Zen+), as its Integrated Memory Controller isn't very strong. The Memory Clock, Infinity Fabric Clock, and Unified Memory Controller Clock are linked in a 1:1:1 ratio. It's uncommon for Ryzen 2000-series to support DDR4-3000+, though DDR4-2666 is more typical. (For the Zen series, DDR4-2400 works better with DDR4-2666.) ... ... The 3000-series (Zen2) and 5000-series (Zen3) improved significantly, making DDR4-3600 more stable. ================================== Turn on XMP, then lower the DRAM Frequency Ratio to 30.00 or 29.33 manually, and retry.

I've attempted those posts, but the manager says it only runs at 2933 after testing various RAM configurations. On Rainbowsix, I noticed a 100fps boost mainly when checking timing settings.
