I frequently use the Win11 Advanced Startup Menu (Shift+Restart) to boot from a USB device. Recently, my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse stopped functioning in this menu, leaving me with no control. Even using Ctl+Alt+Del doesn't help. I'm forced to perform a complete shutdown just to restart. I used it last week without any problems. The keyboard and mouse work normally in both the BIOS and the main operating system. I'm curious if others have experienced this before or if there are any suggestions. I understand there are many things to check, but I'm wondering if this issue is likely related to a driver update this week. It feels unusual that it works in BIOS and OS but not in the Advanced Startup Menu. I've tried different USB ports, but haven't yet connected it directly.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! I've experienced something comparable before—it was a defective keyboard/mouse setup that worked with one receiver. Often, I use a wired keyboard to fix such problems. There were times when the front panel USB ports were damaged due to poor build quality, so I tried the rear USB ports instead. Could you tell me what motherboard you're using? What is the BIOS version for it? Regarding your operating system, you mentioned Windows 11—what version (not edition) are you running? Did you update your system before the issue started? Try manually reinstalling your chipset or USB drivers to see if that helps.
