Hey, I encountered a similar problem where several computers adjusted their clock at midnight. They were all identical models with the same BIOS and fresh Windows 7 installations. On April 6th, 2020, between 1AM and 2AM, they all shifted their time forward by one hour. After that, they reset to standard time by 3AM. It didn’t seem like any timezone change occurred, and since the systems were offline, NTP wasn’t active. In the Event Viewer, I only saw a notification about the hourly adjustment. The problem persisted even when running in safe mode, and we can reproduce it by reverting the time to before April 6th at 00:50 and waiting an hour. Since new installations were made, it appears the issue remains. Our applications are time-sensitive, but they sync up daily while offline. Anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on what might be causing it? I found a blog post suggesting communication issues with the RTC and another mentioning a batch file problem around the same time. Thanks.

The area configurations seem accurate. The only possible adjustment is due to Daylight Saving Time.

Alternatively, you could refer to a Microsoft support article about daylight saving time issues.

Don't stress, everything looks okay—it seems this is likely a Windows OS problem rather than something needing general fixes. Consider adjusting the time settings to automatic according to your time zone. What type of motherboard are you using, and which BIOS version is active?

The region configurations appear accurate, likely tied to the timezone setting. I noticed similar entries on the site (http://www.webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/g.html) for "South America - Falklands" matching the same date, though these are set in Ireland. Thanks. We've also turned off the automatic time zone adjustment checkbox on Windows and recorded this inconsistency. This problem has been reproduced on another system that seems unrelated to these settings. BIOS Version American Megatrends Inc. CCR6R112, 5/03/2014 Windows Version Windows 7 Professional 6.1.7601 Service pack 1 build 7601 The Locale is Australia and the timezone is GMT Daylight Time
